She wasn’t always knee-deep in CSS variables and JavaScript optimizations. Once upon a time, she was a lawyer specialized in intellectual property-protecting ideas rather than building them.
Fast forward through years of WordPress, Magento 2, headless CMS, and SFCC: she led high-end luxury projects as a Front-end Tech Lead for a global luxury brand.
Today she focuses on high-performance front-end architecture, design systems, and user-centric experiences balancing aesthetics and speed.
When she’s not debugging, she’s probably traveling, lost in music, or reminiscing about time in Morocco, Amsterdam, Madrid, and Bali.
Richard - Back-End Developer, SEO & Digital Imaging
Richard is the backbone of Code Venus. A PHP expert who mastered WordPress, PrestaShop, and custom CMS solutions long before they were cool.
SEO optimization? His playground. Performance tuning? Daily routine.
He also crafts bespoke management software - highly tailored tools that make spreadsheets look like stone tablets.
Beyond code, he’s into drone photography, Photoshop wizardry, and AI-generated visuals. A true Canadian: nature, kids, and purpose-driven projects.
How It All Started
We met in the most unexpected place - a Montessori school where both our kids were enrolled. After a few laughs and long talks about the state of the web, plus countless projects together, we finally launched Code Venus.
